Metropolis

Metropolis,Dir. Fritz Lang,(1927)

Metropolis is a good film from the beginning to end you start off in a tunnel
with people marching in and out of it .From this point on I knew it was going to be a good film in the way of  the camera angle which I have never seen before.

The set was well made throughout the entire film especially the sites. The film is about underground slave labor and the big time businessmen that lives on the top. There is a fight to get to the top no matter what happens. The sets are sprawling, surreal, an operaticly visual masterpiece of film making that will continue to make your jaw drop

Changed the face of film. This movie was far, far ahead of its time

Though at times Tectonically tough-going, Fritz Lang's German expressionist masterwork exerted a profound influence on art design and the science-fiction genre...
